In the second round of the Conservation Fund, Beaver Township acquired 80 acres along State Route 165. The emphasis of this project was to increase habitat protection. This site containes wooded areas, two tributaries of Turkey Creek (which are primary headwaters to the Mill Creek Watershed), and open space. Sections of this land will be reforested and other portions will remain reserved for open space to accommodate the range of wildlife habitats.
