In the first round of the Conservation Fund, Mill Creek MetroParks acquired 66 acres of land located adjacent to current Experimental Farm in Canfield. This land contains a forested area, wetlands, a meadow area, an unnamed stream, intact riparian zone, a two acre pond and a ten acre farm field. This diverse sight preserves high quality, viable habitat for plant and animal species.
