Since 1974, the Eastgate Regional Council of Governments (Eastgate) has worked to maintain and enhance the availability and quality of water resources for the region, the communities within, and the businesses that employ and drive the economics of the Mahoning Valley. There have been many positive changes in the environmental conditions of the Mahoning Valley over the last 25 years with Eastgate as the designated water quality planning agency.
