In August of 2002, Boy Scout Troop 101 of Struthers took on a storm drain marking project. They placed permanent markers on the storm drains through out Struthers. These markers alert the public that what goes into the storm drain directly ends up in the area waterways. They also placed door hangers at area homes to alert residents of the project and to educate them about non-point-source pollution. A great effort on the part of our youth to get involved in conservation efforts! Thank You Boys!
