TBEIC Shared Resources Center Grand Opening

TBEIC (Tech Belt Energy Innovation Center) celebrated its ribbon cutting for the grand opening of their Shared Resource Center that received $245,000 in ARC grant funding. This project is an example of public and private partnerships working together to provide resources to develop new businesses that can expand the economic foundation of our region. The Federal ARC grant funds will be used to purchase equipment for the Energy Integration and Shared Resource Center laboratory to facilitate energy development in the region, and bring technology opportunities from across the country and overseas to the district to promote economic growth and high paying jobs. This project will serve incubator residents, private sector businesses, and promote collaborative research and development proposals. It is anticipated the project will lead to the creation 67 jobs and retain 11 positions.
