Public Input Invited for Proposed WRTA Service in the City of Warren

Nov 18, 2019

November 20 meetings will help determine routes

The Western Reserve Transit Authority (WRTA) will begin Fixed Route bus service within the City of Warren in March 2020.

The Youngstown-based transportation service will offer up to six routes to serve various areas within the city. In this planning phase, the agency is seeking suggestions from the public on how these routes should be structured, including the streets they will run on and potential schedules.

WRTA will host two meetings at which riders can learn of the agency’s preliminary plans and offer their input. Meeting dates and times are:

  • Wednesday, November 20 at 2:00 pm at the Trumbull County Veteran’s Services Office, 253 E. Market St in Warren
  • Wednesday, November 20 at 6:30 pm at Christ Episcopal Church, 2627 Atlantic St NE in Warren
Final routes and schedules will be announced prior to the initiation of service next year.
